Firewood that hasn’t been properly seasoned can be smoky, inefficient, and harmful to your wood burner — and the environment. That’s why we go the extra mile, drying all our wood over 1–6 years, depending on species, until it reaches a core moisture content of just 15–20%. This is well below the 25% threshold defined by the NZ Home Heating Association (NZHHA) as "Good Wood." Our firewood Is:

We supply a cosy mix — a carefully balanced blend of species chosen for optimal fire performance. Here's a look at the typical seasoning time and moisture content of the timbers we use:
