Giles Creek coal is a West Coast sub-bituminous coal, sustainably sourced with over 16 million tonnes of recoverable reserves. It offers consistent supply, making it a trusted fuel choice for long-term heating solutions.

Cosy Coal (Blend of Giles Creek & Strongman Coal)

A popular blended option suited to multi-fuel burners and coal ranges (except Rayburn).

  • Calorific Value: 25 MJ/kg
  • Blend: 50% Giles Creek, 50% Strongman
  • Burn Profile: Burns hotter and faster than Giles Creek alone but won't bank down overnight as effectively.

Cosy Coal offers the best of both worlds—longer burn time from Giles Creek and increased heat from Strongman.

Strongman Nuts

High-energy, fast-burning coal for more traditional heating systems.

  • Calorific Value: 31.5 MJ/kg
  • Best For: Open fires, traction engines, forging, and older coal ranges.
  • Qualities: Low sulphur, valued as a blending coal, and ideal for quick, intense heat.
